Our Vision

We develop cockpit elements for flight simulators to significantly enhance the experience through increased immersion. Starting with individual elements like the TEDAC from the AH-64D and the Cap Panel of the F-14, our vision is to gradually develop more complex cockpits, up to complete flight simulators and gaming rooms. Furthermore, we aim to make gaming more accessible (again) to people who, due to physical limitations, are no longer able to fully pursue their passion.

Our History

Ever since I was a child, I’ve been fascinated by the idea of fully immersing myself in the virtual world with all my senses. One of the most important aspects for me is to personally experience all the sensory impressions of the character being played. That’s why I started developing a treadmill platform for VR applications during my studies. However, this endeavor requires a larger team and budget to complete the platform. Therefore, we are currently focusing on cockpit elements and full cockpits to create a solid foundation for even larger projects.

Our Team

Through my mechanical engineering studies, I initially gained insights into mechanics and technical drawing, and then switched to human-machine interaction with a focus on computer science and perception psychology. Nora is a core member of the team as a freelance employee. With her completed computer science degree, she develops the necessary software for us. Additionally, she brings expertise in force feedback from her own projects. We are also supported by our 3D artist, Leandra, who actively helps us with the design of our elements.

Opinions

With our vision and first prototypes, we have already received several awards. These include a podium finish at the Startup Olympics in Essen and first place for the best idea in the HRW Starter Idea Competition in 2020. Even before founding the company, we were able to convince the IHK jury in Essen and secure the NRW Founder Scholarship. Additionally, we have partnerships with the FabLab at HRW and theStartupScheune, which has significantly facilitated our prototyping process.
